Booking. The forwarding of a deposit (£250) constitutes acceptance of these conditions by the client and warrants that he/she is authorised to accept them on behalf of all other persons facilitating the property. The booking conditions still apply, even if for some reason the deposit is not received (e.g. a late booking by telephone). Following receipt of a deposit cheque confirmation of reservation will be e-mailed as soon as practicable.
Bond Furthermore the deposit will act as a Cleaning/Damage Bond to be refunded in Full to the booking client. A reasonable deduction will be levied for excessivel cleaning/repair/excessive damage to the property/contents.
The balance of said Bond will be returned to the client in cheque form within 14 days of departure date.
Note: WE EXPECT OUR CUSTOMERS TO COMPLETE A GENERAL TIDY UP OF THE PROPERTY PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.
Balance. Full payment of the reservation is payable four weeks prior to departure. Bookings within four weeks of departure usually requires full payment.
Balance Due. If the client does not pay the balance due at the prescribed time the owners reserve the right to cancel the booking. In this event, or if the client cancels after the booking is confirmed,should we or the client not be able to secure an alternative booking then the deposit will be forfeited. We shall endeavour to rent the cancelled week/s to the best of our ability
Vehicles. All vehicles should be parked on the driveway of the property or in a manner that does not cause obstruction or interference with lawful passage of vehicles to our only neighbours Tal-r-afon.
Owners Liability. The Owners accept no responsibility for, and shall not be liable, in respect of loss or damage or changes caused by force majeure events (e.g. industrial disputes, floods, fires, weather conditions) or any other event beyond their control.
River Safety. The property fronts a Tidal River and there exists a Pond in the garden, the owners do not accept liability for injury, howsoever caused.The River level varies as to the Tide state,wind direction and whether there has been persistant rain in the mountains over a period of time.We are not deemed responsible for personal equipment damaged or loss during times of flood.Water may rise up the garden steps during the brief Spring Tide Period. Outside the bounds of the STOREHOUSE property there are some deep pools.
My customers must not cause annoyance to the Fishermen either In,On or along the bank sides whatsoever.
Accuracy. All given information is correct at the time of posting. However, the owners are not always able to control all the components of the facility and it is possible that an advertised facility maybe withdrawn or changed due to circumstances beyond their control and for which the owners accept no liability.
Accommodation. All accommodation is booked exclusively for the persons named on the booking information(e-mail). No other persons may use the accommodation without the written permission of the owners.
Services. The owners do not accept liability for loss of main services, such as electricity or water supplies, nor for the consequences of the actions or omissions of persons who may control supply of main services.
Heating. The Heating systems are controlled Manually by the Cottage renting party, essentially for ease of use and comfort.Switch ON, then control heat with up/Down buttons.
Please refrain from altering any other controls.
In the event of a Heating Engineer attending an Emergency visit due to Tampering, a £50 Call Out fee will be levied with us, therefore this fee will be passed on to the responsible person of the given renting party by deduction from the deposit.
Owners Insurance. The property is covered by Liability Insurance. The owners accept no liability for loss or theft of clients luggage or personal property at any time in the property or grounds.Clients are responsible for their own travel/medical insurance.
Cancellation. In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond reasonable control of the owners necessitate the cancellation of the holiday arrangements, the owners reserve the right to either cancel any bookings at any time, and will only be liable to refund monies already paid by the client, or make alternative arrangements with mutual agreement by the client.Should the client cancel thier holiday this arrangent within One month of the start date then they will be liable for Full payment should we not secure a further booking for said holiday period. We will make All reasonable efforts to fulfil our obligation to re-let the property.
Acceptance. The owners reserve the right to refuse acceptance of any booking at any time at their discretion.
Availability. The property will be available from 14.00hrs on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00hrs on the day of departure or otherwise directed.
